Veterinary Practice
Mag. med. vet. Iris Schönsgibl
As a small animal veterinarian, it is especially important to me to accompany my patients and their families over many years.
Whether it’s preventive care, an acute illness, or compassionate support in your pet’s senior years. I want you to feel just as well taken care of as your animal.
Personal connection, trust, and respectful communication are the foundation of my work every day.
Veterinary Services
In our veterinary practice, we provide medical care for small animals and companion pets.
Our focus is always on the individual animal — with calm, care, and a commitment to offering treatment that is medically sound and clearly explained:
Not everything that is possible is always necessary; but everything that is necessary is carried out with diligence and care.

About Me
Mag. med. vet. Iris Schönsgibl
Born and raised in Steyr, I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with animals. This passion led me to begin my studies in veterinary medicine at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna in October 2003.
During my studies, I was already able to gain valuable practical experience in various veterinary practices and animal clinics, while further deepening my professional knowledge.
In 2010, I began working as a veterinarian with Dr. Ursula Millonig.
Our many years of collaboration not only built a strong foundation of professional expertise, but also a shared approach to veterinary medicine: personal, responsible, and always focused on the well-being of each individual animal.
I am therefore especially pleased to now be taking over the practice from Dr. Millonig.
As a small-animal veterinarian in Vienna, I believe that alongside high-quality medical care, a well-organised and low-stress practice routine is essential — so that my patients and their families can feel comfortable and at ease.
Clear procedures, scheduled appointments, and a calm atmosphere help both people and animals alike.
